Greetings!

Spring has sprung! After the stillness and inward force of Winter, it is time to face upwards and burst into life. In Winter we were forced to face death (or our resistance to it). Now we are forced to face life. We are moved into the domain of confronting challenges and obstacles which have hidden within them lessons of flexibility, evolution, and freedom. Spring is all about movement and engaging in the dace of evolution. Just as the sprout has to face the concrete block on its journey to the sun, we too have to face how badly we want to truly live when confronted with life's hard places? Are we satisfied with a life of general dissatisfaction? Are we satisfied with complacency under the title of comfort? Will we leave the amazing life to others for fear of making a real change? Do we say, "I can't make the needed changes right now because life is too overwhelming or too busy?" Spring respond to this statement with a question: What are you not seeing which is making this current obstacle to change a perceived necessity? Spring is all about change. The Chinese classic, the Su Wen, tells us that the greatest cause of disease is our resistance to the changes of life. If we can't bend, adapt, evolve, flex, flow, and dance with the natural movement of life, we will get ill. This is assured. How easy is it to stay within our comfort zone and blame this act on the economy, or on some other external force in our life? How easy is it to tell ourselves we are just trying to get by and that mediocrity is the best we can do? Spring says, "I will face everything and avoid nothing and do so within the divine flow of existence." Spring says, "Life is a dance with hardships and pleasantries, and we can engage in this dance for all that it is worth while reaping the gifts it places before us." No one else can limit our freedom except for our own mind. No one can trap us into a cage if our mind is free. But for this to be a reality we have to take full responsibility for ourselves and commit to the dance. We have to end the blame game and jump into a reality where we govern our own life while intermingling with the natural flow of the divine. We have to engage with the divine in our own individual way and find the Life within the life. My wish for all of us is that we fall in love with the dance of life. That we fall in love with the intense rainfall and thunderstorms as well as the beautiful sunny days. That we find an intense intimacy with the nature of change within us. That we embrace the pain of letting go of rigidity as the winds of change come upon us. What if there was no such thing as 'Getting by'? What if there was no such thing as 'same 'ol same 'ol? Life is bursting with life RIGHT NOW. The question is are we willing to open our eyes to see. This is the challenged offered by spring. We all do have it in us to live such a life. Are you willing to admit it and take the leap? Spring's answer is YES!Happy Spring.Love, Alexander, Veronica, Katherine and Sophia.
